The Not Forgotten

We are proud to have The Not Forgotten as our charity partner of 2024.

The Not Forgotten is a 104-year-old charity supporting over 10,000 sick and injured veterans and serving personnel every year, across the Navy, Army, RAF and Merchant Navy. 

Their year-round programme of social events, respite breaks and outdoor challenges improve physical and mental health, address isolation and loneliness, and encourage community, camaraderie and support. 

Restoring dignity, confidence and independence to men and women of all ages, backgrounds and disabilities, enabling them to live a happier, more sociable and confident life.  

The Not Forgotten holds afternoon teas, Christmas lunches, fun days, outdoor concerts, and days out from boating to beekeeping. They take veterans fishing, ski-ing, sailing, cycling, kayaking and car racing. They run vital respite breaks to France, Majorca and Devon, hold parties at St James’s Palace and Buckingham Palace, and provide TVs and tablets to veterans isolated at home.

For those who through physical or mental injury illness have lost their military career, direction and sense of ‘belonging’, these events and the community they foster are vital in lifting spirits and saving lives.
